Magic Market place in Las Vegas is in full swing. Three flurry filled days of fashion and textile extravaganza. It is like Disney Land for the retail world.

along with Beth, our back room manager and buyer, headed to Las Vegas this week to find new and exciting items for the store. The last time they went, they returned with thrilling new lines and designers, independent distributors, and companies from around the world.

Although, we do take an enormous pride in supporting local, 60% of our store is filled with merchandise from local artists and designers; Portland has so much to offer, but we also like to see what the rest of the world in the fashion and merchandise industry is up to. Magic provides us with the opportunity to meet with and see aspiring and emerging designers, and retailers, along with the established from across the globe.

Last time the ladies returned exhausted from the Magic show, and it wasn’t because they were partying it up in Vegas, no they were working hard, they came back with their hands full with new stuff for the store and for you. We can not wait till they get back with all the new goodies!
