Sweet Petunia Pickle Bottom

We have received our latest shipment of Petunia Pickle Bottom baby bags, clutches, and totes.

Petunia Pickle Bottom, in the baby bag world, is practical meets luxurious, pragmatic meets cultivated. These bags are elegant with lavish design, and opulent without being ostentatious or pretentious. You can probably tell we love them dearly, that is why we are showcasing a few of PPB’s bags along with some of our newest dresses.

Cake: Rich and elaborately decorated with ornate embellishments, and often used in celebration. Sure, that is a definition for the kind of cake you can eat, but it seems befitting for PPB’s bag line, Cake. Scrumptious for the eyes and hands.

These tweed bags, fashioned after vintage doctor bags, are woven with Italian cut velvet. You can hardly believe that inside are all the pockets and design, including a changing pad in the zippered base of the bag, that you need for your baby.

Since, we are dressing for the bag on this day, we felt this voluptuous Marilyn Monroe-esque cut chocolate dress would be perfect.

The Cake Cosmopolitan bag also comes with a shoulder strap to free up your much needed arms, since you only have two.

This dress was so pretty and feminine, we knew that its versatility would hold up against yet another sumptuous bag creation: The Boxy Backpack.

This boxy backpack sits comfortable on the shoulders like a school bag yet maintains its sophistication, and sophistication is what is needed for this classic dress design.

It also comes with a long messenger strap and a built in changing station with a detachable changing pad.

The backpacks and totes are suitable for all your baby carry all needs. The totes are so deceptive in their baby design that they could pass as a regular bag, except when you pull out a sippy cup from one of the two cup pockets or the removable changing pad.

The designs are gorgeous and delightful. The Heirloom bag is from the most recent addition in Petunia Pickle Bottom’s perennial collection. It is a limited edition, a celebratory homage to the past ten years.

Yes, Petunia is celebrating their tenth year, and this intricate design is a showcase of their most iconic and popular designs from previous bags. The bag is matte glazed, giving it a resplendent finish that is also water repellent and easy to clean, plus the front details of soft blue and chocolate are hand embroidered with loving care.

Pictured with a Cake clutch this lovely summer dress is a perfect addition to your wardrobe. The sweetheart belt with a soft bow gives a shapely curve to your waist and highlights the decorative ruffling.

Plus it has this adorable back cut and bow…

And it goes perfectly with a Cake clutch bag in any color, or any tote bag.

Urbane sophistication more your style? Just arrived is this 1940′s tailored inspired dress with the high wrap collar. There is something Jackie O’ meets the 60′s idea of the future in this dress, and of course it is a splendid paring with Petunia Pickle Bottom’s Rhone Blooms touring tote.

This beautifully designed bag with its delicate pink embroidery and trimming was inspired from Le Rhone, the great European river originating in Switzerland, and ending at the south corner of France then opening into the magnificent Mediterranean sea.

Another 40′s inspired cut, this “tennis” dress with the ruffled v-neck is darling for sunny days and a wonderful companion to this Black Orchid Roll silk brocade touring tote.

The rich decorative designs are cosmopolitan and poised with an exotic flare.

The Spring Time in Surrey Clutch is swanky with mod tulips, dark chocolate embroidery, and cream, chocolate, and amber colors.

Friends do not let friends carry ugly bags, even baby bags. These bags are luxurious creations in functional stylish design. The Cake Licorice Pudding Cameo clutch wristlet converts into a shoulder strap.

Moment in Morocco is a flowered star pattern design, like something you would see on the doors of the Royal Palace in Fez.

All of Petunia Pickle Bottom’s bags are PVC free and easy to clean. There are multiple pockets for your baby, a pacifier pocket, small pockets for cell phones, and a key clip to make life easier for you.

This lovely springtime blouse could have also been inspired by Moroccan design.

If you find that brocade, silk, chenille, or floral patterns are not your thing or maybe papa needs a compromise in the baby bag department, not to fret, Petunia Pickle Bottom created a line of functional chic bags without the frills.

Scout bags are as durable and reliable as all of PPB’s bag designs. These felt bags are complete with plenty of pockets for bottles, baby wipe cases, changing pad, and even a cell phone pocket for parents.

The shoulder strap is adjustable and all the hardware is from antique brass with debossed design and logo.

Not to be forgotten this cute summer top was a great match for the Scout.

Not that you have to match your clothing to your baby bags. We thought it would be fun to create outfits around the bags to show you what new and fun items we have for you. And, of course the bags are not just for mommy’s and daddy’s alone, these designs are so hip and chic that anyone that wanted to could easily use these bags for their own devises sans babé. You could use that changing pad for a little sitting pad in the park, just a thought, in fact some of our employees have done just that.

If you happened to notice some of the jewelry our models are wearing you can find these earrings by Luscious, and many more designers, in our store. Also featured on this post are jewelry by Rubygirl and Molly M Designs.

We leave you with this palatial silk brocade backpack. Something iridescent and nice to think about.
